We strive to ensure the health and safety of all animals that are homeless, abused, in natural disasters, indigent, and pets that are the victims of domestic violence.
We accomplish this through both short and long-term immediate actions such as arranging for financial assistance for the needs, costs of veterinary care and emergency medical treatment for animals.
Additionally, we engage with rescue organizations by offering financial assistance on an as needed basis for the medical care of animals.

What began close to two decades ago in scattered communities as a visible gesture of support for survivors and victims of domestic violence, today has become one of the most widely recognized symbols of the battered women’s movement – the purple ribbon. Coincidentally, the purple ribbon is also a symbol of animal abuse. It is a well-known fact, there is a direct link between acts of cruelty to animals and violence toward humans.
Who will pay for the injuries of animals that are victims of domestic violence and animal cruelty?
What happens when a person or family runs into financial difficulty and is unable to pay for medical care, emergency services and/or other services for their pet?
